Just as action packed as last year Julz will be challenged by the landscape and environment as he endeavors to keep up with the wild dogs in Roxanne, his trusty Jeep. The immersive on the shoulder style keeps us close to the action as Julz fixes on the fly, camps in the wilderness, and does what he does best – captures stunning wildlife behaviour in an incredible landscape.

Cub Camp

Judy and Roger Stearns, ordinary people with a little bit of land and a lot of heart, run Black Bear Rescue Manitoba. Every spring they welcome in orphaned black bear cubs to their 10-acre facility. All of the cubs arrive deeply traumatized and alone, with some cubs being so young that they are blind and helpless. But with the round-the-clock care provided by the Stearns, including bottle feeding at all hours, these baby bears gradually recover and even thrive. As they grow, they develop distinct personalities, and learn the skills they need to survive. And, in the fall, the group of healthy and confident cubs are ready to return to the wilderness, having grown up under the safe wing of CUB CAMP.
