The film follows three pioneering projects: on Maziwe Island, Kerstin Erler’s team rescues sea turtle nests from rising tides; on Chumbe Island, Sibylle Riedmiller runs a no-take marine park and offers free eco-trips to schoolchildren; and on Fanjove Island, Malcolm Ryen partners with local communities to protect reefs through eco-tourism and no-fishing zones. Through capturing scenes of baby turtles racing to the sea, community patrols redirecting fishers, and schoolchildren discovering reefs, this film underlines the message that small actions matter.
